科挙式暗記実践記録27-28日目

二日間でこれだけ。正直、科挙式の作法ではなくとにかく朝昼夜の思いついた時に思い出す、という方式になってしまっている。そのせいで効率が悪いのか。

It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."

あと、思うこととしては、「絶対にいつまでに覚える」という気合いがないと覚えられない、ということ。締め切り効果には科学的根拠もあるらしい。このスピーチは長く、特に切迫した締め切りを設けずに取り組んでいるのが良くないのかもしれない。

In a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. 

先へ進める事が出来た。やはり「覚えるぞ」という気合いは結構大事だと思った。

ちなみに、ゲスティバーグの復習もしたが若干怪しい箇所があった。書き出して確認しないといけない。

今日も新しいフレーズを覚えられず。移動中に復習をモゴモゴとするだけだった。しかし、この暗記に取り組み始めてから思う事だが、脳内での反芻は、いつでも好きな時に、英語の基礎トレができるので便利だ。分からないときは、スマホのevernoteに登録している原文で確認している。

出張など生活が不規則になり、コンスタントに朝昼晩の運用ができない。

One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. And so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.

ここまで覚えた。一日2〜3文でコツコツ行こうかと思っている。

本日は朝、バタバタしておりこれだけ。リズムと文の構造（並列的な表現）を意識しながら。

三連休の最終日で休日。

キング牧師のI have a dream を、2パラグラフまで。

難しいかな。。と思うけれど、意外に頭に入る。分からない単語はきっちり調べながら進める。

ゲスティバーグ演説に関連しているし、冒頭は明らかに意識していることが分かる。
